NEW PORT RICHEY - A couple is accused of operating a marijuana growing operation in their New Port Richey home.
Alfred Leroy Robinson, 53, and his wife, Debra Ann Robinson, 52, both of 7716 Tanglewood Drive, New Port Richey, were arrested early today by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators found 34 plants, about 3 pounds of loose marijuana drying and various forms of paraphernalia in the residence. The plants were growing inside "two rooms in a downstairs garage area," a sheriff's office report said.
Both were charged with one count each of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were being held at the Land O' Lakes Jail today with bail set at $20,150.
