91-Year-Old Man Dies After Crash

HUDSON - A 91-year-old motorist died Monday after another driver ran a red light and struck his car, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The man's name had not been released Wednesday because authorities had not been able to notify his family.
The wreck happened at 8:50 a.m. at State Road 52 and Little Road, the highway patrol said.
Sheri Lynn Grueneberg, 46, of New Port Richey, was driving a 2006 Hyundai when she struck the man's vehicle, troopers said. Both drivers were flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where the man later died. Grueneberg's condition was not available.
The highway patrol is still investigating.
