Couple Arrested In Pot Bust

NEW PORT RICHEY - A couple are accused of operating a marijuana growing operation in their home.

Alfred Leroy Robinson, 53, and his wife, Debra Ann Robinson, 52, both of 7716 Tanglewood Drive, were arrested early Wednesday by Pasco County sheriff's deputies.

Investigators found 34 plants, about 3 pounds of loose marijuana drying and various forms of paraphernalia in the residence. The plants were growing inside "two rooms in a downstairs garage area," a sheriff's office report said.

The Robinsons were charged with one count each of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were being held at the Land O' Lakes Jail on Wednesday with bail set at $20,150.
