KISSIMMEE - Four people have been charged in Central Florida in connection with the discovery of human remains.
Osceola County authorities charged 48-year-old Christopher Carter on Thursday with first-degree murder. His wife, 44-year-old Sheryl, and 41-year-old Matthew Jones face accessory-after-the-fact charges. The three are also charged with abuse of a dead human body.
The fourth suspect, 43-year-old Timothy Winfrey, faces an accessory-after-the-fact charge.
Authorities say the victim, 40-year-old David Arsenault, knew the suspects. His body was found in the Kissimmee area early February. A cause of death has not been determined.
