Former Oklahoma Deputy Indicted On Pinellas Sex Charges

A federal grand jury has indicted a former Oklahoma deputy on charges he traveled to Pinellas County to have sex with two children.
James Edward Sanders, 58, of Oklahoma City, was actually talking to an undercover Pinellas investigator when he made arrangements to meet and have sex with an 11-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl, the U.S. Attorney's Office said today.
Sanders is a former sheriff's deputy in Cleveland County, Okla., officials said. If convicted of the federal charges of interstate travel to have sex with a minor, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
