Recruitment company Job News expects heavy turnout at its job fair today at the Quorum Hotel, 700 N. West Shore Blvd.
"We fully expect nearly 1,600 job seekers to attend this event, based on the early registrations we have received," John Rodenbush, general manager for Job News, said in a prepared statement.
The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is free to job-seekers. For information, go to www.jobnewstampa.com.
Companies attending include Amscot, Avon, Defense Intelligence Agency, DeVry University, Flexicom, Gulf Coast College, HCR Manor Care, Metro PCS, NCO, Tyler & Morgan, University of Phoenix and the U.S. Army.
