Busy Saturday At Library
At New River Branch Library on Saturday, the First Saturday Book Club will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m., the First Saturday Knitting Club will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the Teen Gaming Club will meet from 2 to 4 p.m.

Library Teaches Computer Skills
New River Library, 34043 State Road 54 W., will offer two computer classes Monday. Basic Computer Skills II will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by Basic Laptop Computing at noon. The classes are free and open to adults. Registration is required.

Buckeye State Folks To Picnic
The Ohio Picnic will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bahr's Mobile Home Park, a mile east of U.S. 301 on County Road 54 East.
Those attending should bring a dish to share and their own table settings. Coffee and tea will be provided. Entertainment will be by ventriloquist Alex Houston and Elmer.
There will be a $2.50 charge per person.

Plenty To Eat At Breakfast
The Colony Hills Community will provide a pancake breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the mobile home community, 35144 Wagner Way.
The menu will also include French toast, eggs, sausage, and orange juice and coffee. The breakfast is open to the public, and the cost is $3 per person.

Rainbow Village Having Yard Sale
Rainbow Village RV Resort, 4150 Lane Road, off State Road 54 West, will have a parkwide yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
There will also be crafts for sale in the main hall. Coffee and donuts will be available.
Elks Lodge Plans Fun-Filled Day
Elks Lodge 2731 of Zephyrhills, on Wire Road, will feature karaoke, food and games beginning at noon Saturday.
Other activities at the lodge include weekday meals, with hot dogs and meat sauce planned for Tuesday for $5, and taco bowl Wednesday, also for $5.
An Evening Of Dancing
The Dance Club of Betmar Acres will hold a ballroom dance at 7 p.m. Saturday at Clubhouse 2 on Lakewood Drive. Music will be by Hank Botranger. Betmar Acres is a mobile home community for residents ages 55 and older.

Fight Fat With Your Brain
Lavinia Rodriguez will present "Mind Over Fat Matters: a Workshop" from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Parkway.
The workshop will discuss Rodriguez's new book and how your brain can get in the way of your best intentions to be fit.

Club To Discuss Butterfly Gardens
The New Port Richey Garden Club will meet at noon Wednesday at the Finnish American Club, 6016 Delaware Ave. The topic will be butterfly gardening.
Gardener Sue Walsh, creator of the butterfly garden at Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill, will speak. There will be a potluck lunch before the meeting. Bring a covered dish, a serving spoon and utensils for yourself.

Meal Benefits Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 406, sponsored by Ridge Manor Community United Methodist Church, 34350 Cortez Blvd., will hold its annual pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ridge Manor Community Center.
The menu will also include sausage, biscuits and gravy, applesauce, and orange juice, coffee and tea. A $5 donation is asked for adults, and $3 for children. Children younger than 5 eat for free.
This annual fundraiser helps pay for camping trips, camping equipment, recharter expenses and Boys' Life magazine.
