Firefighters Contain Brush Fire Near Pasco Subdivision

WESLEY CHAPEL - Pasco County firefighters say they have contained a multi-acre brush fire near the Seven Oaks subdivision off State Road 54 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.

Authorities said firefighters formed a ring around the blaze but that it would probably continue to burn through the night.

The fire was reported at 3:48 p.m. Firefighters were able to protect homes in the subdivision; no one was evacuated.
