Sarasota Officials Call Woman's Death Suspicious

SARASOTA - The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found this afternoon at 2570 Chester Ave.
The victim's friends called authorities at 4:49 p.m. saying they had found the woman. Deputies responded and pronounced the woman dead.
Deputies said they think foul play was involved and are investigating the incident with the Medical Examiner's Office. The name of the victim is being withheld.
