Finding Videos
First, search online for your favorite show. Typically, shows have a page for fans, with links to videos. Second, look online for the network where it appears on TV. You can also look to these online video directories:
•TVGuide.com, the standard for traditional TV, now lists online shows and offers some full episodes, including some from HBO and other premium channels.
•OVGuide.com has a general listing of shows.
•Boxee.tv provides software that finds shows.
•Hulu lists shows within the NBC universe.
•Slingbox offers an online version of shows and movies at Beta.sling.com.
•Crackle offers Sony Pictures movies.
•Also check out aggregator sites such as Yahoo, AOL, YouTube, etc.
Dare To Be Different
Don't just consider mainstream TV. Broaden your view with other videos.
•AcademicEarth.com allows you to take classes from Harvard, Yale and Stanford with recorded lectures from top professors.
•TED.com offers presentations from some of the top artists, researchers and thinkers from around the world.
•GlobeTrekkerChannel.com has videos from the offbeat travel show that goes right to the locals.
