School Bus, Truck Collide; No Children Hurt

No children were hurt when a school bus and a pickup truck collided at Nundy Avenue and East Bay Road this afternoon, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Details of the crash were not immediately available, but deputies say it appears the bus violated the right of way of the truck, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said in a written statement.
The truck struck the bus about 4:15 p.m. and flipped, Carter said.
The bus driver was not hurt. The driver of the truck was taken to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries.
