Portraits are $25 (cash or check) for one 8-by-10 or two 5-by-7s. Ten percent of proceeds go to St. Francis Society Animal Rescue in Tampa. (SHAM)ROCKIN' GOOD TIME

Sip green beer while your dog munches green biscuits from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Paws For Friendship's St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Grillsmith, 14303 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. The event includes a best canine leprechaun contest, prize drawings and half-price drinks and appetizers. RESCUE 101

The Red Cross and SPCA are offering a Pet CPR and First Aid Class at 10 a.m. April 4 at SPCA Lakeland, 5850 Brannen Road S., Lakeland. The $40 fee includes books. Topics to be addressed are CPR, dressing a wound, getting ready for a natural disaster, monitoring vital signs and assisting a choking pet. A BUCK A SHOT

All this month, get a rabies shot for $1 when you get your pet spayed or neutered at the Animal Coalition of Tampa clinic, 1719 W. Lemon St., Tampa. To make a reservation call (813) 250-3900; prices and other services can be found at www.actampa.org.

EASY WAY TO SPAY

If you've got a potential mama cat and no desire to find homes for a litter of kittens, get a deal on spaying her this month at Pinellas County Animal Services, 12450 Ulmerton Road, Largo. The cost is $30, and your proof of purchase gets you a $1 rabies vaccination; for people on public assistance, there is no charge. To make an appointment or for information, call (727) 586-3591.
