PORT RICHEY - A Port Richey teenager was arrested Wednesday after he mugged an acquaintance, taking a wallet containing more than $500, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.
The report says former Ridgewood High School football star Byronell Cortez Arline, 19, was one of four individuals who conspired to rob Brandon Acaster, 23. The victim told authorities he was picked up by Arline and three other friends and driven to Regency Park Apartments, 8226 Alnwick Circle, Port Richey.
Upon arrival, While walking between the apartment buildings, the men stole the wallet after jumping the victim, punching him repeatedly, "causing severe facial fractures" requiring medical treatment at a hospital, the report states.
Arline is additionally charged with failure to appear for his Feb. 25 arraignment on a possession of marijuana charge, according to a related arrest report.
Arline, of 6141 Pine Hill Road, was released from Land O' Lakes Jail on bail of $10,513.
