SATSUMA - Deputies in North Florida are searching new areas for a 5-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a month.
Sheriff's Capt. Dick Schauland says there is no new information in the search for Haleigh Cummings, but more ground to cover. About 100 deputies fanned out on Thursday to look for clues about where the girl might be.
Deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and nearby law enforcement agencies will search along U.S. 17 and the area 30 yards from each side of the road.
Meantime, Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, 25, is reportedly scheduled to marry 17-year-old Misty Croslin today.
Haleigh's parents are divorced. She was being watched by Croslin when she vanished from Ronald Cumming' home. Authorities are treating the case as an abduction.
