A fourth person has been charged with arson and attempted murder in connection with a fire on Monday that left 10 people homeless.
Oscar Lizardi-Rivera, 36, of Tampa is being held without bail at the Orient Road Jail today, jail records show.
Tampa police arrested him in the 4900 block of North MacDill Avenue about 11:25 p.m. Wednesday on a felony charge of heroin trafficking, saying they found him with several baggies of the drug weighing 6.3 grams, officials said.
Officers discovered the other warrants at that time.
Tampa Fire Rescue said Lizardi-Rivera is the fourth person sought in an arson fire Monday morning at 1202 E. Columbus Drive. A couch in the shed was set ablaze, and the fire spread to the house, causing about $88,000 in damage, fire officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
Fire agency spokesman Capt. Bill Wade said investigators think the fire was set in retaliation for a fight between one or more people living in the home and family members or friends of the people arrested.
Arson investigators also charged Luis Hernandez, 25, Abdiel Gonzalez-Ramos, 22, and Raul Diaz, 15, with attempted murder and arson in connection with the fire.
Hernandez, who records say goes by the alias King Lulu and is a member of the Latin Kings gang, was held at the Orient Road Jail on $500,000 bail today.
Gonzalez-Ramos was held at the same jail on $50,000 bail, records show.
Diaz was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center, where his booking information was not available.
