A body found yesterday along Interstate 75 in Ruskin has been positively identified as Enid Grace Hendricks, the 75-year-old English tourist who went missing for days, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Hendricks disappeared two days ago while visiting relatives in Ruskin.
Deputies say that the woman walked out of the door of her relatives' home at 2500 Yukon Cliff Drive about 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Five hours later, and about three miles northeast, deputies say someone spotted her at the Sunpoint Shopping Center on College Avenue, just west of Interstate 75.
A short time later, another valid sighting happened in a tomato field just north of the shopping center along 30th Street Southeast, deputies say.
All that was on Wednesday. There were no valid sightings of Hendricks on Thursday.
Officials are awaiting results from a toxicology exam to determine the cause of death, according to an HCSO media release.
Investigators said there did not appear to be any signs of foul play.
