Local Volunteers Shave Their Heads For Cancer Research

Chris "Sticks" Martin plays a song while having his head shaved by Jennifer Sherwood, stylist at The Chop Shop at a cancer benefit Saturday. Then, "Honorary Firefighter" Danny Donovan gets his head shaved by Lindsey Rose Belcher, 8.
The event, at Big Shots Sports Bar in Clearwater, benefited St. Baldrick's Foundation, which raises funds for childhood cancer research.
Donovan was part of Team Firefighters 4 Lindsey, which supports the girl, who has leukemia.
About 40 people pre-registered to have their heads shaved, and more were expected to register at the event.
