TAMPA - A 20-year-old woman is in jail facing charges that she punched a pregnant woman and used a box cutter to slash the victim's face and arms late Saturday night, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Quianna Wilson and the victim were arguing in front of the victim's house on Inoma Street about 11:30 p.m. Saturday when Wilson punched the victim, who is 36 weeks pregnant, in the back of the head, an arrest report said.
Wilson then used a box cutter to slash the victim's arms and face, opening a 5-inch laceration on her face along with 2-inch cuts on her arms and a 2-inch cut on her right shoulder, the report said.
Wilson was arrested about 1 a.m. today at her house on River Cove Street in Tampa. She is in the Orient Road Jail facing felony charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery on a pregnant female.
Bond is set at $15,000, jail records show.
