HOLIDAY - The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash in Pasco County involving a 14-year-old boy on a bicycle.
The boy was riding his bicycle on Darlington Road, just east of Sweetwood Drive, in Holiday after 8 p.m. Thursday when a black Honda sideswiped him with its passenger-side mirror, according to a highway patrol report. The car drove off east on Darlington Road, the patrol said.
Troopers were called to Community Hospital New Port Richey about 9:15 p.m. Thursday to investigate. The boy sustained serious injuries, according to the report.
