Man Accused Of Battery On Pregnant Daughter

SPRING HILL - A local man was charged with felony aggravated battery after he assaulted his pregnant daughter in front of witnesses, deputies said.
Deputies arrived shortly after 3:20 p.m. Monday after a woman called to report her father had kicked her out of the house and attacked her after she told him she was pregnant, according to an arrest report.
Witnesses told authorities they observed Mark Gene DiViccaro, 52, drive up to his daughter at the corner of Elgin Boulevard and Dellwood Avenue and throw her to the ground.
DiViccaro was taken to the Hernando County Jail and held without bond.
