It might be said that a Riverview man went a foot too far in his dispute with two men in a supermarket parking lot late Monday.
Yoan Rodriguez-Santos, 19, waved a knife at one man and drove over the foot of another during a fight about 11:25 p.m. at a Publix at 11109 Winthrop Market St., Riverview, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
No information was available on how the fight began.
According to the sheriff's office, Rodriguez-Santos swung a knife at Shawn Watson, 21, of Riverview, then drove his 1999 Honda Accord over the foot of Andrew Jones, 18, of Brandon, while heading out of the parking lot.
A deputy responding to a 911 call about the fight saw the Accord leaving the parking lot and arrested Rodriguez-Santos.
He is charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery and one count of misdemeanor battery. He was held at the Orient Road Jail today on $10,000 bail, records show.
