TAMPA - An 11th-grader at Alonso High School was arrested Wednesday, accused of toting three bags of marijuana around campus along with a portable, battery-powered scale.
Milton Hurtado Jr., 18, 12827 Cedar Forest Drive., Apt. 307, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to an arrest affidavit, deputies searched the teenager after they got an anonymous tip from another student.
The marijuana and scale were found in Hurtado's book bag, deputies said.
Wednesday night, the teen remained in the Orient Road Jail. Bail was set at $10,000.
