BROOKSVILLE - Two women offered a 77-year-old man sex in exchange for money, then arranged a violent robbery when he turned them down, authorities say.
The suspects knocked on the victim's door Feb. 21 and were invited inside to the home in the 9000 block of Parrish Avenue. Amber Carroll, 22, and Rebecca Kelly, 27, offered sex in exchange for money, but the victim turned them down.
At that point, Carroll walked outside, saying she was cold. She burst back inside with two hooded men, who knocked the victim to the ground and demanded cash, according to an affidavit.
The victim was "in fear for his life" and handed over $101 in cash from his pocket, a report states. The suspects escaped in a sport utility vehicle.
Detectives caught up with Carroll on March 2 and she reportedly told them that the cash was spent on crack cocaine and gasoline. She also identified Kelly as a co-defendant.
Kelly and Carroll were arrested on charges of home invasion.
