BRADENTON - A man walked into a Walgreen's pharmacy late Wednesday afternoon and demanded 80 milligrams of oxycodone. If the pharmacist didn't comply, the man said, he would press the button on a detonator in his pocket and blow the place up.
The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. at the drugstore at 6003 14th St. W. The man was handed four bottles of oxycodone, each containing 100 pills, according to Manatee County sheriff's deputies.
The robber then walked out the front door and fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured, deputies said. A description was not immediately available.
