Hillsborough County detectives are trying to track down a woman who used a stolen debit card to withdraw money from Washington Mutual Bank, 2802 E. Fletcher Ave., about 5:30 p.m. March 10.
The theft stems from a burglary about 5 p.m. at Lettuce Lake Park on Fletcher Avenue, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office news release. A suspect or suspects broke a car window and snatched a purse.
In addition to trying to withdraw money from the bank, the female suspect tried using the victim's Target credit card on March 10 at the University Plaza Target at Fletcher Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, deputies say.
