Deputies Say Seffner Mom Hit Teen Daughters

A Seffner woman entered her 17-year-old daughter's home without permission, found her 15-year-old daughter in the laundry room, grabbed the girl's hair and hit the girl in the head and body Sunday night, Hillsborough County deputies say.

When the woman's 17-year-old daughter tried to intervene, the woman punched her in the head and body, deputies say.

Deputies arrested Latasha C. Brown, 34, at 10:10 p.m. Sunday following the incident at 1101 Sagamore Drive.

Brown was charged with two counts of child abuse and one count of burglary with battery.
She remained in Orient Road Jail today. No bail has been set.
