CLEARWATER - A second suspect in a home invasion last week has surrendered, Clearwater police said.
Jaron Anderson, 17, of Clearwater, turned himself in Sunday at the Pinellas County Jail, said Elizabeth Watts, Clearwater's public safety spokeswoman.
Another suspect – identified by police as Mariano McAuley, 19, a transient – was taken into custody last week.
At 11 a.m. Wednesday, two masked men burst into a home at 1209 Grantwood Ave. The suspects shot Dominick Daniels, 26, and pistol-whipped Marco Conley, 19. Both victims survived their injuries.
The crime was not random, police said.
