ST. LEO - Saint Leo University hosts a student production of "Fool for Love," with four 8 p.m. performances today through Saturday in Selby Auditorium on the main campus.
Admission is free. The play contains adult content and might not be suitable for people 17 or younger, according to a theater announcement.
The drama, written by playwright-actor Sam Shepard, is set in the West in the early 1980s and explores the complicated relationship of the main characters, Eddie and May. A character referred to as The Old Man appears in a dreamlike manner and speaks to the other characters.
Two student casts alternate among the four performances, with one exception: retired Saint Leo University English professor Mark "Tiger" Edmonds portrays The Old Man and appears in all performances.
To reserve seating, call Dave McGinnis, director of theater, at (352) 588-8401 or e-mail him at david.mcginnis@saint leo.edu. The campus is at 33701 State Road 52, four miles east of Interstate 75 (Exit 285).
