Sarasota Man Accused Of Having Child Porn

A 61-year-old Sarasota man is accused of having 70 images of child pornography on a home computer, officials said.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office, working with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, arrested Robert Horrow at his home about 9:30 a.m. today, deputies said. Horrow was booked into the Sarasota County Jail; bail information was not available.
Investigators said the arrest caps an investigation begun in September after Horrow took his computer to a business named Digital Doctors to have the hard drive copied so he could reload the contents to a new computer.
A technician at the business discovered images of girls engaging in sexual activity and called law enforcement, investigators said.
A detective obtained written consent from Horrow to search the hard drive and extracted possible pornographic images, officials said. The images were analyzed by experts at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and confirmed as pornography.
