Getting To AirFest

AirFest will be held at MacDill Air Force Base in South Tampa.

By car:

Motorists can enter from two gates, MacDill Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway.

From Interstate 75 or the Brandon area: Take I-275 to Dale Mabry Highway. Take Dale Mabry south. Or, exit at Dale Mabry and cut over to MacDill, about six blocks east.

If you don't mind tolls, from I-75 or Brandon take the Selmon Crosstown Expressway. The expressway ends at Gandy Boulevard. From that point, take Dale Mabry south to the base.

From St. Petersburg: Take the Gandy Bridge into South Tampa. Stay on Gandy Boulevard to Dale Mabry. Turn right at Dale Mabry. A note of caution, Gandy Boulevard is under construction.

From Clearwater, Pinellas: Take the Howard Frankland Bridge/I-275 to Dale Mabry Highway. Head south on Dale Mabry.

By bus:

Park in a downtown Tampa garage and take HART's Route 4 bus, which will run every 15 minutes. Stops include Marion, Whiting and Tampa streets.

The bus uses the base's Bayshore entrance. Fares: $1.75 one-way for adults, and 85 cents for seniors and youths 17 and younger.
