TRIBUNE TOP 5
1. Chamberlain (13-0): Junior infielder Stephanie Medina has returned to the lineup after missing two weeks with an arm injury. Chiefs face Gaither on Friday.
2. Sickles (13-3): Gryphons wrapped up the regular-season championship and secured the top seed in Class 6A District 7 tournament with a win against Gaither on Tuesday.
3. Newsome (14-3): Sophomore pitcher Bailey Schinella helped her own cause with a double and improved to 11-0 on the mound with a one-run, two-hit victory against Brandon on Tuesday.
4. Plant City (17-3): Raiders' schedule doesn't get easier, with the Spring Fling tourney, East Bay and Newsome on the horizon.
5. Plant (12-2): Both losses have been to top-ranked Chamberlain.
