NEW PORT RICHEY - A third teen has been arrested Thursday in connection with a burglary at River Ridge High School.
Robert John Fritz of 4804 Canterbury Drive in Land O' Lakes is charged with armed burglary, wearing a mask while committing an offense and trespassing on school property with a weapon.
Fritz, 17, is a junior at Land O' Lakes High School.
Anthony Dickens and Cameron Tortarelli, both 17, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the burglary. They are juniors at River Ridge High School, a sheriff's report states.
The trio are accused of breaking into the school's administration building just before 2 a.m. March 14. They took items valued at more than $5,000, including laptops, hand-held radios, cell phones, digital cameras, cigarettes and a set of master keys, a report states.
Most of the items were recovered, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said.
Damage to the building - shattered glass, broken ceiling tiles and damage to several air conditioning ducts - is estimated at $1,080.
