Pedestrian Hit By Truck In Oldsmar

A pedestrian has been hospitalized with apparently serious injuries after being hit by a truck in Oldsmar this evening.

The pedestrian was struck in the eastbound lanes of Tampa Road, west of East Lake Woodlands Parkway. The pedestrian appeared to have life-threatening injuries and has been taken to a local hospital.

Eastbound Tampa Road is closed at Canal Park; motorists should anticipate delays for the next few hours.
