TAMPA - Robert Rohrlack Jr., a familiar face to the Tampa business community, is returning to the city to lead the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber on Thursday announced Rohrlack, 47, as its next president and CEO. He will start April 27 and replaces Kim Scheeler, who left in August for a similar job at the Greater Richmond (Va.) Chamber of Commerce.
Rohrlack has worked for the Tampa chamber twice before, most recently from 1993 to 1996 as executive director of its economic development arm, the Committee of One Hundred. More recently, he was a senior vice president at Enterprise Florida in Orlando, the state's economic development arm.
