A student at Skydive City in Zephyrhills landed on a hangar roof this afternoon but was not hurt, instructors at the school say.
Firefighters used a ladder truck to retrieve the man from the top of the hangar at 4241 Sky Dive Lane, general manager T.K. Hayes said. The man, whose name was not immediately available, declined medical treatment.
His parachute had opened properly, Hayes said.
The man was with a group of about 20 students who jumped from an altitude of 13,500 feet this afternoon, Hayes said.
