OLEAN, N.Y. - The University of South Florida - with five players in double figures - advanced to the semifinals of the WNIT, pulling away late in the second half Sunday to outlast St. Bonaventure 80-66.

South Florida (25-10) plays Wednesday at Boston College at 7 p.m. The title game is Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Bulls began to pull away in the second half before the Bonnies cut the Bulls' lead to five, 67-62, with 5:38 left to play. A 5-0 run extended USF's lead to 72-62 with 2:38 left, and the Bulls hit their free throws in the final 1:30 to seal the win.

"I'm very proud of our guys," USF coach Jose Fernandez said. "In the second half we did a better job defending dribble penetration and contesting shots. I thought in the second half, we made more reads in our half-court offense, came off ball screens and started to attack the rim."

USF center Jessica Lawson had 14 points and 14 rebounds, while forward Brittany Denson added 10 points.

Senior guard Shantia Grace led all scorers with 20 points, going 13-for-13 from the line.

Jazmine Sepulvedo had 13 points while Stokes finished with 11 off the bench as the Bulls shot 50 percent (28 of 56) from the floor for the game.
