TALLAHASSEE - One of Gov. Charlie Crist's top priorities may be in trouble on the final day before lawmakers turn their focus on a budget agreement.
Lawmakers will drop all issues unrelated to the budget after today, and a clean energy bill supported by Crist was still in limbo.
The Senate passed a bill (SB 1154) that would require power companies to generate 20 percent of their electricity through clean energy sources by 2020, including solar, wind, nuclear and other sources.
But the House hasn't been as supportive.
Instead, the House has sought to open state waters to offshore oil and natural gas drilling and may try to tie the issues together.
