Floroda Highway Patrol Road Closure Information

FORT LAUDERDALE - Alligator Alley has been closed again thanks to smoke from a massive brush fire in the Everglades that has lingered over the highway.

The road was reopened Saturday with the Florida Highway Patrol urging motorists to drive cautiously because of low visibility caused by the brush fire in the Big Cypress National Preserve. Multiple accidents were reported on Alligator Alley early Saturday.
