TAMPA - A 14-year-old boy was discovered stuck under burglar bars Sunday night when a man came to check on the North Seminole Little League Field's concession building, which had been broken into in the recent past.
When the man arrived at the fields, at 2410 E. Yukon St., at 9:48 p.m., several juveniles ran from the scene, police said.
The man ran up to a concession building and saw the 14-year-old stuck under the bars along the north wall, police said. A wooden shutter to the concession window had been forced open, and there was food outside the window, according to a report.
The 14-year-old told police that he and the other juveniles he was with pulled out the bars so he could squeeze through. The boy told police he got trapped when the other juveniles ran from the man.
The boy and one other teenager were arrested on charges of petty theft.
