SEMINOLE – Three floors of an apartment building were evacuated overnight after fire broke out in a third-floor unit, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
The fire started at about 3:30 a.m. at the Seminole Gardens apartment complex, 8101 113th St. N. No one was hurt, according to the sheriff's office, but the building sustained serious damage.
Arson detectives will examine the scene later this morning, but so far, investigators do not believe the cause of the fire is suspicious.
The Red Cross is assisting people displaced by the fire.
