Riverview man faces 500 counts of child porn

RIVERVIEW - A 37-year-old Riverview man had 500 images of child pornography on his computer, investigators say. Some of the images were of children no older than 3.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Kenneth Courtney this morning at his home. He was charged with 500 counts of possession of child pornography. He remains in Orient Road Jail, with bail set at $1 million.
FDLE, along with the state attorney general's office, went to Courtney's home today following a tip investigators received about child pornography, FDLE spokeswoman Kristen Perezluha said.
Investigators are performing a forensic examination of his computer.
