Spring Hill woman injured in one-car wreck

An 18-year-old pregnant woman was airlifted to a St. Petersburg hospital this morning after her Chevrolet sedan veered off the road and turned over, witnesses said.
Rebecca Lawrence, of Spring Hill, was listed in stable condition at Bayfront Medical Center, said Sgt. Donna Black, a spokeswoman with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
Her mother, 48-year-old Lisa Gilpin, was a passenger in the vehicle and was not seriously injured.
Lawrence was traveling westbound along Fort Dade Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. when she failed to navigate a sharp turn, Black said.
