Walt Disney World and T. Rowe Price have teamed up to produce "The Great Piggy Bank Adventure," an interactive financial education experience at Epcot in addition to an online version that drew national publicity thanks to a Saturday Night Live skit over the weekend.
The adventure has a serious undertone in trying to teach lessons to youngsters about setting goals, saving and spending smartly.
But Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler, in a spoof on the Disney announcement, reported "The Great Piggy Bank Adventure" would not be as effective as another new attraction, "Offshore Bankers of the Caribbean."
The real adventure is offered Epcot's Innoventions attraction and on the web at thegreatpiggybankadventure.com.
