TAMPA - Investigators from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration uncovered a cocaine "stash house" this morning, seizing roughly 3 kilograms of cocaine after a two-month investigation, officials said.
Authorities said they served search warrants at 8651 Navajo Ave. and 5411 Grove Hills Drive. The Grove Hills address was used to store cocaine, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators arrested Lavonne Odonis Dallas, 29, who lives at the Navajo Avenue address, on charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and delivery of cocaine. In addition to cocaine and drug paraphernalia, Dallas also was found in possession of $11,940 in cash, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators estimated the cocaine's value at $84,000.
Deputies seized Dallas' vehicles, a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 and a 2002 BMW. He is being held in the Orient Road Jail without bail.
