In my more than 30 years' experience as a school administrator from another state, I have determined the common denominator with bullying.
In regards to bullying on most campuses, in nearly every instance adults were not apprised of the situation. Neither those being bullied nor those aware of the bullying took the initiative to get adults involved, be they teachers, counselors, administrators, police officers or parents. Anonymity has always, and will continue to be, the hallmark of the bully.
