TAMPA - Michael Kilgore, vice president of marketing and customer experiences at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, has been honored by The Broadway League for outstanding achievement in road marketing.
The award is given for successful marketing results in the touring Broadway community.
Kilgore received the award during The Broadway League's annual spring road conference.
Kilgore's "creative emphasis on new technologies has made him a visionary in the concept of interactive experience marketing," The Broadway League Executive Director Charlotte St. Martin said in a news release. "I've gotten to know him through his leadership roles in various League committees, but his reputation of staying ahead of the curve and his foresight in building initiatives to meet new challenges has reiterated my admiration of his talents on behalf of the industry."
Kilgore said he was "deeply honored."
"I believe this reflects our arts center president, Judy Lisi, as well as our accomplishments as an institution and as one of the top touring Broadway markets in the country," Kilgore said.
