Members of Pasco County Professional Firefighters Local 4420 have volunteered their time to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association by conducting a boot drive.
Firefighters have been standing on various intersections in Pasco County for the last three Fridays holding their boots and collecting money.
Capt. Dan McCaffrey thanked the residents of Pasco County for their generous donations.
Local restaurants have also made donations. They include: Beef O'Brady's in Trinity and New Port Richey; Fitzgerald's, New Port Richey; Danny's Bar & Grill, Holiday; Wing House, U.S. 19, New Port Richey; Acropolis-Seventh Avenue, Ybor City; Buffalo Wild Wings, New Port Richey; Cody's Original Roadhouse, Tampa,; Rapscallions, Land O' Lakes; and Foxy's VIP Lounge, New Port Richey Boot collection has been at the following intersections: State Road 54 and Little Road; Little Road and Ridge Road; S.R. 54 and U.S. 41; S.R. 56 and County Road 581 (Bruce B. Downs Boulevard); and S.R. 54 and Seven Springs Boulevard.
