Myakka City woman hit by lightning

TAMPA - A woman in Myakka City was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital after being struck by lightning this afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The woman arrived at TGH just before 3 p.m., Ellen Fiss said.
The woman's name and condition have not been released.
