Toddler drowns in Tarpon Springs pool

An 18-month-old boy drowned in the family swimming pool Monday evening, Tarpon Springs police said.
Brayden Lague was discovered in the family pool at 1501 Oleander Drive at about 7:30 p.m., said Barbara Templeton, spokeswoman for the Tarpon Springs police department.
The child was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, she said.
Templeton said Brayden was originally inside the house, playing in the living room with his 5-year-old sister, while their father was cooking in the kitchen. The toddler apparently slipped outside.
