TAMPA - Two Carnival cruise ships next month will resume sailings from Tampa that include port calls in Mexico, Carnival senior vice president of marine operations Brendan Corrigan said today.
The Carnival Inspiration will resume sailings June 20; the Carnival Legend on June 21.
Sailings to Mexican ports were halted last month after the swine flu outbreak and a recommendation by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention against all nonessential travel to Mexico.
The CDC has lifted its recommendation against travel to Mexico.
